Introduction
The bimarathon involves running a marathon (42.195 km) and observing 110 deep-sky objects, all between sunset and sunrise in a single night. The first bimarathon was conceived by Canadian amateur astronomer Warren Finlay and completed by him on March 9/10, 2016. A bimarathon requires both outstanding physical fitness and excellent amateur astronomy skills. If you're looking for a serious mental and physical challenge, you've found it!
